Staying in Sparks
The School House and Bunk House book up fast so make your reservations soon. The School House and Bunkhouse are available for customers that rent equipment from Dryland Aquatics.

You will be staying in the town of Sparks the Canoe and Tube Capital of Nebraska. Founded in 1888 by the Sparks brothers.

School House
School House Info
$20 per person per night with a 12 person minimum
The school house was once the actual Sparks county school building. It may not be the Ritz Carlton but does have A/C, a shower, and 2 bathrooms. It also has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and refrigerator. The layout Is spacious, sleeps up to 18 comfortably but has space for many more. The beds are all bunk beds. There are 3 twin size, 3 full size bunk beds and one full size bed. We provide fitted sheets and pillows. So you will need to bring a blanket or sleeping bag and and other supplies you might need. Outside there is a gas grill, picnic tables and a fire pit. The school house is next to the playground which is available for everyone to use.
The coffee is always on in the Sparks General Store along with firewood and almost everything you will need for your trip. There are more showers available in the shower house next to the store.
Please return the school house to the state it was in when you arrived. The School House is available for customers that rent equipment from Dryland Aquatics. Must pay for the 10 person minimum each night you stay.
BUNKHOUSE
Bunkhouse Info
$18 per person per night with a 5 person minimum
The Bunkhouse is split into 2 sides the north and south side. 5 person minimum for each side.
The North side has A/C and a bathroom. It also has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and refrigerator. The layout Is a spacious, sleeps 9 comfortably but has space for more. The beds are all single beds along with 1 bunk bed.
The South side has A/C, a bathroom and a refrigerator. The layout is split with 2 full sized beds on one side and 4 twin sized beds and 2 twin sized bunk beds on the other side.
We provide fitted sheets and pillows. So you will need to bring a blanket or sleeping bag and and other supplies you might need. Outside there is a gas grill, picnic tables and a fire pit. There is a playground next to the school house which is available for everyone to use.

CAMP GROUND / RV Sites
Camp Ground
$10 per person per night for camping
Campground is $10 per person per night. We offer fire pits and picnic tables. There are restrooms and a shower house located next to the Sparks Store.
The coffee is always on in the Sparks General Store along with firewood and almost everything you will need for your trip.
Our campground is not located on the river. If you wish to camp along the river you can stay at Smith Falls State Park and we will pick you up at your site and bring you back when your float is over.

If you want to camp next to the river you can stay at Smith Falls State Park. We will come to your campsite and pick you up and bring you back to the campsite when your trip is over. For more info about staying at Smith Falls State Park click here.
RV Sites
$30 per night for RV Sites
RV Sites are $30 a night for up to 4 people. Any additional people will be $10 per night. We have electrical hook-ups with adapters available at the store. There are also fire pits and picnic tables.
There are restrooms and a shower house located next to the Sparks Store.
The coffee is always on in the Sparks General Store along with firewood and almost everything you will need for your trip.
The closest dump station is in Valentine or Spingview.
Our campground is not located on the river. We are located right off the highway so no navigating down country roads.
